CAMEROON – BURUNDI : BILATERAL COOPERATION ON THE MOVE

On Tuesday July 07th 2025, H.E. FELIX MBAYU, Minister Delegate to the Minister of External Relations in Charge of Cooperation with the Commonwealth, received on behalf of H.E. MBELLA MBELLA, Minister of External Relations, copies of the credence letters of the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Burundi to Cameroon, H.E. MWAMBA NTIRAMPEBA.
During the courtesy audience which followed the presentation of the copies of the aforementioned credence letters, exchanges between the Minister Delegate and the Burundian Head of Diplomatic Mission focussed on:
- Appreciations of the state of bilateral and multilateral cooperation with the Republic of Burundi, notably on issues of common interest within the sub-region such as peaceful resolution of conflicts and contributions to UN peace keeping deployments;
- The promotion of cooperation frameworks in the domains of Agriculture, Defence, Education, implementation of the African Continental Free Trade Area requirements, and exchange of expertise in other specific sector of activities.
