AUDIENCE GRANTED ON APRIL 30, 2025, TO H.E. CHRISTOPHER JOHN LAMORA, AMBASSADOR OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA TO CAMEROON

On Wednesday, 30 April 2025, the Minister Delegate to the Minister of External Relations in Charge of Cooperation with the Commonwealth, H.E. Felix MBAYU, granted audience to the Ambassador of the United States of America in Cameroon, H.E. Christopher John LAMORA.

The Minister Delegate was assisted by the Director of Protocol and Consular Affairs, the Director of American and Caribbean Affairs, the Director of Communication and the Director of Cameroonians Abroad, Foreigners in Cameroon, Refugees and Migratory issues.

Exchanges generally focused on aspects related to consular cooperation between Cameroon and the United States.

At the end of the audience, H.E. LAMORA expressed the availability and goodwill of the U.S. Embassy and all the entities with which it works to comply with Cameroonian legislation in all relevant sectors. Minister MBAYU reassured his host on the ongoing steps taken by the competent authorities to facilitate the exercise of their consular prerogatives by the Diplomatic missions and Consular posts accredited in Cameroon.
