In memory of the victims of the tragic accident that occurred on the 27th of January 2021, at the Santchou Valley, in the West Region of Cameroon, members of the Cameroonian community in Malabo and its periphery, sought to convey their sympathy to the families that were affected by the accident. To meet their aspirations, the Embassy, acting on the instructions of the Ambassador, His Excellency Désiré Jean Claude Owono Menguele, opened a condolence book. From Wednesday the 3rd to Friday the 5th of February 2021, diplomats, elites, Presidents of associations and other members of the Cameroonian community, took turns to express their solidarity and compassion, while extending condolence messages to the families of the victims.

In view of promoting Cameroon's investment attractiveness, on Monday 9 February 2021, the Ambassador of Cameroon to Turkey, H.E. Victor Tchatchouwo, visited the Turkish Enterprise, TTT World, a company of the SILA Group that specialises in the production of medical equipments such as: vacuum blood collection tubes, syringes, serum sets, medical injectors and other medical consumables.
The SILA Group of Companies also provides services for healthcare facilities including: hospital architecture and construction, advice in health and social security, IT, education and real estate, etc.
The SILA Group is one of the main Turkish investors in Public-Private Partnership (PPP) hospital projects in the healthcare sector in Turkey.
During this meeting, the Ambassador encouraged the SILA Group to establish partnerships with Cameroonian companies that are investing in this crucial sector.


On Wednesday, 17 March 2021, a Cameroon-Ethiopia Senior Officials Consultation meeting was held at the Ethiopian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Official Commemorative Ceremony of the 2021 Commonwealth Day and Silver Jubilee of Cameroon - Commonwealth Cooperation took place on Wednesday 10 March 2021, at the Ministry of External Relations, in the presence of the Minister, H.E. Mbella Mbella.
The First Counselor at the Cameroonian Embassy in Brazil, Mr Paulin Martial Tchenzette, and the Defense Attaché Tatason Vikram Baba, received a new batch of Cameroonian officers who will be undergoing training in Brazilian Military Schools, on behalf of the Ambassador, H.E. Martin A. Mbeng, on 13 February 2021.
Following the reception at the Rio de Janeiro International Airport, in the presence of Brazilian officers, Captain Tatason handed over two Cameroonian flags to the delegation and reminded them of the value of the flag, echoing the words of the Head of State. He urged them to defend the national colours with honour and loyalty. The First Counsellor also exhorted them to be Ambassadors of Cameroon, proudly defending and promoting with integrity and dignity, the values of the institutions of the Republic of Cameroon.
The arrival of this new batch of trainees, at a time when the admission of foreign cadet officers has dropped, is an achievement that holds promising prospects, with the expected admission of Cameroonians in other military training schools in Brazil.
