On Tuesday, 9 February 2021, H.E. Ondoua Ngaeto Zam Edith received the new Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Gabonese Republic, H.E. Seif Kandeel. This visit, undertaken within the framework of courtesy visits by the Egyptian Ambassador, to the Heads of Diplomatic Missions in the Gabonese capital, is a testament of the excellent state of relations between Cameroon and Egypt.
On the 11th of February, she granted an audience to the new Representative of the Francophonie (OIF) for Central Africa with residence in Libreville, Mr. Fademba Madakome Waguena. They talked about issues of common interest, and dwelled on the rich, fruitful and diversified cooperation between Cameroon and the OIF.
On Saturday, 13 February 2021, some ECCAS officials and staff from the Embassy including, the Ambassador, the President of the ECCAS Commission, H.E. Verrissimo de Piedade, the Commissioner for Territorial Development and Infrastructure, Mrs. Mfoula Chantal, the Commissioner, for Gender Promotion, Human and Social Development, Ms. Yvette Kapinga, the ECCAS and CEMAC Military Advisor with residence in Libreville, Captain Njiki Alain Didier, and the First Secretary at the Cameroonian Embassy, Mr Daboule Aristide Guy Aimé, held a meeting over lunch, at the Residence of Cameroon. Their discussions focused on integration issues in Central Africa.


The first Cameroon - Brazil Bilateral Ministerial Meeting on Agriculture, jointly organised by the Brazil-Cameroon Chamber of Commerce and the Embassies of Cameroon in Brazil and Brazil in Cameroon, held on 14 January 2021, to present the project carried out by the Brazilian International Centre for Technology Transfer in Agro-Livestock (CIITTA) and FGV Europe, to promote self-sufficiency in rice production in Cameroon.
The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Mr Gabriel Mbairobe, attended the meeting together with the Executive Secretary at the Brazilian Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply, Mr Marcos Montes Cordeiro, the Secretary General A.I. at the Ministry of External Relations in Cameroon (MINREX), Mr Oumarou Chinmoun, the Ambassador of Brazil to Cameroon, Ms. Vivian SanMartin, the Director of the Agribusiness Promotion Department at the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr Alexandre Ghisleni, a representative of the Ministry at São Paulo, Ambassador Irene Vida Gala, the First Counsellor at the Embassy of Cameroon in Brazil, Mr Martial Tchenzette, the Sub-Director for South America at MINREX, Mr Serge Amouga, the President of CIITTA, Mr Cleber Guarany and the head of financial structuring at FGV Europe, Mr Vitor Sawczuk.


On 21/12/20 H.E. Mrs LIGUEMOH ONDOUA Madeleine presented her credentials to H.E. Fernando Arias, Director General of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) reaffirming  Cameroon’s commitment to a world free of chemical weapons


Within the framework of initiatives to encourage Turkish economic operators to invest in Cameroon, the Ambassador of Cameroon to Turkey, H.E. Victor Tchatchouwo held an important working session with the managers of the Turkish enterprise "TURKMAHALL" on Thursday 7 January 2021.
TURKMAHALL is a financial consultancy firm that specialises in the promotion of Turkish companies abroad. It is also very active in the fields of "B2B" and the promotion of products made in Turkey. The working session focused on the project outline for the establishment of a TURKMAHALL Business Centre that will serve as an exhibition space to showcase the products of close to 200 Turkish companies, in Yaounde, in 2021. During this meeting, the Ambassador presented the advantages offered by Law N° 2013/004 of 18 April 2013 to lay down private investment incentives in the Republic of Cameroon. He also encouraged TURKMAHALL to establish partnerships with Cameroonian SMEs.


On Monday 14 December 2020, President Alassane Ouattara took the oath of office before the Constitutional Council of the Republic of Cote d'Ivoire, in the presence of several African Heads of State and Government. The Minister of External Relations of the Republic of Cameroon, H.E. Mbella Mbella represented the Head of State, H.E. Paul Biya, at the ceremony that marked the start of President Ouattara's first five-year mandate in the Third Republic.
