The First Counselor at the Cameroonian Embassy in Brazil, Mr Paulin Martial Tchenzette, and the Defense Attaché Tatason Vikram Baba, received a new batch of Cameroonian officers who will be undergoing training in Brazilian Military Schools, on behalf of the Ambassador, H.E. Martin A. Mbeng, on 13 February 2021.
Following the reception at the Rio de Janeiro International Airport, in the presence of Brazilian officers, Captain Tatason handed over two Cameroonian flags to the delegation and reminded them of the value of the flag, echoing the words of the Head of State. He urged them to defend the national colours with honour and loyalty. The First Counsellor also exhorted them to be Ambassadors of Cameroon, proudly defending and promoting with integrity and dignity, the values of the institutions of the Republic of Cameroon.
The arrival of this new batch of trainees, at a time when the admission of foreign cadet officers has dropped, is an achievement that holds promising prospects, with the expected admission of Cameroonians in other military training schools in Brazil.
