Under the supervision of the Ministry of External Relations of the Republic of Cameroon, the Embassy of Cameroon in Brazil, the Embassy of Brazil in Cameroon, the Tace Trading Group, and the Cameroon-Brazil Chamber of Commerce, a Cameroonian delegation comprising 15 representatives from City Councils, the Special Council Support Fund for Mutual Assistance (FEICOM), the Chamber of Agriculture, Fisheries, Livestock and Forestry of Cameroon, economic operators, and Higher Education Institutions, visited São Paulo, from 3 to 10 April 2021. The First Counsellor at the Cameroonian Embassy in Brazil represented the Ambassador, H.E. Martin Mbeng, in the Mission that enabled participants to assess Brazilian potential and establish contacts, with prospects of negotiating partnerships in the future, in relevant sectors including agricultural equipment, fish farming, transformation of local products, waste collection and transformation, etc.

On Wednesday 31 March 2021, the Minister Delegate to the Minister of External Relations in charge of Cooperation with the Commonwealth, H.E. Felix Mbayu, granted an audience to the President of the National Olympic and Sports Committee (C.N.O.S.C.), Mr Hamad Kalkaba Malboum.
The Minister and his guest discussed endeavours to bolster the partnership between the C.N.O.S.C. and public institutions.
The President of the C.N.O.S.C. presented two key projects that the institution is working on, notably:
Cameroon's bid to host the 6th edition of the Islamic Solidarity Games in 2025, and the request for support, from MINREX and foreign partners, for the construction of a high level sports complex in Yaounde.

The Ambassador, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Cameroon to the World Trade Organisation (WTO), H.E. Eheth Salomon, had an audience with the Director General of the WTO, Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, on Tuesday, 13 April 2021.
Their discussions focused on the state of cooperation between Cameroon and the Governance Body, as well as the Twelfth WTO Ministerial Conference ( MC12) that will take place in November 2021.The Director General requested that the Ambassador should iterate her heartfelt gratitude to the President of the Republic of Cameroon, H.E. Paul Biya, and the Government, for the precious and invaluable support Cameroon offered during the selection process that led her to the helm of the WTO.

 

At the behest of the Head of State, H.E. Paul Biya, the Ministry of External Relations hosted a Farewell Dinner, in honour of H.E. Rowan Laxton, outgoing British High Commissioner to the Republic of Cameroon, on Wednesday 31 March 2021. The Minister Delegate to the Minister of External Relations in charge of Cooperation with the Commonwealth, H.E. Felix Mbayu, presided over the event, on behalf of the Minister of External Relations, H.E. Mbella Mbella. The dinner was preceded by a Farewell Audience at the Ministry of External Relations.

Within the framework of activities to promote Cameroon's investment attractiveness, the Ambassador of Cameroon to Turkey, H.E. Victor Tchatchouwo, undertook several field trips in March 2021. He visited the headquarters of the following Turkish companies:
- EGE YAPI: specialised in real estate development and infrastructure construction, consulting and marketing services, outsourcing, catering, and renovation.
- KARPOWERSHIP: The world's leading operator and builder of Floating Power Plants, in the domain of innovative energy projects.
-ERDEM GROUP: specialised in the production of office equipment and logistical support for various types of projects (construction projects, companies, hotels, schools, hospitals, boarding schools, university accommodation etc.).
In the course of each visit, the Ambassador encouraged the managers of these companies to establish partnerships and invest massively in Cameroon, in view of the immense potential and multiple opportunities that the country has to offer.
