Under the supervision of the Ministry of External Relations of the Republic of Cameroon, the Embassy of Cameroon in Brazil, the Embassy of Brazil in Cameroon, the Tace Trading Group, and the Cameroon-Brazil Chamber of Commerce, a Cameroonian delegation comprising 15 representatives from City Councils, the Special Council Support Fund for Mutual Assistance (FEICOM), the Chamber of Agriculture, Fisheries, Livestock and Forestry of Cameroon, economic operators, and Higher Education Institutions, visited São Paulo, from 3 to 10 April 2021. The First Counsellor at the Cameroonian Embassy in Brazil represented the Ambassador, H.E. Martin Mbeng, in the Mission that enabled participants to assess Brazilian potential and establish contacts, with prospects of negotiating partnerships in the future, in relevant sectors including agricultural equipment, fish farming, transformation of local products, waste collection and transformation, etc.
At the behest of the Head of State, H.E. Paul Biya, the Ministry of External Relations hosted a Farewell Dinner, in honour of H.E. Rowan Laxton, outgoing British High Commissioner to the Republic of Cameroon, on Wednesday 31 March 2021. The Minister Delegate to the Minister of External Relations in charge of Cooperation with the Commonwealth, H.E. Felix Mbayu, presided over the event, on behalf of the Minister of External Relations, H.E. Mbella Mbella. The dinner was preceded by a Farewell Audience at the Ministry of External Relations.
